Sony unveiled yet another exciting HD camcorder for newbies and experienced photographers. The Sony HDR-SR12E Handycam offers spectacular image quality with unbelievable audio effects. The camcorder records Full HD videos with 1920x1080 dpi resolution at 16Mbps using AVCHD format. You can record up to 48 hours HD footage on 120GB hard drive or use the optional Memory stick for sharing. It incorporates ClearVid CMOS Image sensor with Exmor derived technology to minimize noise level and boost image quality.



Furthermore, the camcorder relies on the powerful BIONZ high-speed image processor for fast operation with least response time. The 10 Megapixel Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens with 12x optical zoom and 150x digital zoom captures stunning videos and still images. Face Detection with Bit Allocation has been integrated with the camcorder to give perfect exposure in videos as well as still images.
